Beads of Courage

It was brought home to me today when a link to this little boy was posted on the Craft Pimp forum I frequent. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post a picture of him here so this is the link to see for yourself http://www.bechildcanceraware.org/beads-of-courage-members-2/boc-member-of-the-month-february-2013/ You can see for yourself by the amount of beads he has that he has had so many treatments.

A group of us lampworkers make beads for Beads of Courage and once a year hold a beadathon. this years will be in July and held at the home of Jolene Wolfe of Kitzbitz Art Glass. I'm not able to take part in this years event as I will be in the USA attending The Gathering but I have pledged to make some beads. Here are my first batch, some octopi and a spider.
