Last weekend I had a stand selling my jewellery at the Garlic Festival, an annual event celebrating the garlic grown on the garlic farm here on the Isle of Wight.
I usually fit my stand on one table but there was such a large space that I decided to go with two. It was nice to be able to spread out a bit and also talk to the customers over the table instead of round to the side. I usually have the mirror that is on the right in the centre which means I can't reach over.
As this is only my second show this year, the last one being Chale Show which I did 2 weekends ago, I have a bit of a learning curve so may need to re-think my display. I also think it will need to be flexible to be able to fit whatever space I am allotted.
Here is a quick snap of some of my new animal pendants that I made for the kiddies.
I've never really intended to make sculptural beads but I have to admit I quite enjoyed making them.
Next weekend I am at the 40th Island Steam Show another annual event which has been going for an amazing 40 years, all run by volunteers too. It's on for 4 days and you will be able to find me in the craft tent if you are able to visit.
Thanks for looking.
Linda
